Dennis McCarron joined DSP as a group facilitator and is now its Executive Director since 2015. His experience includes 8 years managing retail stores tire & automotive stores and 10 years as a National Management Instructor for Bridgestone’s retail operations. McCarron helped create and implement the ongoing developmental training of 2,200 store managers. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Communication and a Master’s degree in Adult Education
George Kingman, formerly Bridgestone Lab Stores Area Manager joins DSP’s team as Associate Director. His experience includes 10 years as a small business owner. He brings an extensive background in tire and auto repair store management and, as lab stores manager, he was engaged in testing innovative ways to improve store operations. George brings an extensive knowledge the complexity of retail tire and vehicle repair management including financial accountability, technical training, team building& motivation.
Bruce Hawley, formerly Ok Tire Store Inc.’s National Manager, Consumer Products, is a 37-year-tire industry veteran holding various positions within Bridgestone’s Canada senior management. Joining OK Tire Stores in 2002 as Director of Dealer Development, Hawley followed that with responsibility for sales in Western Canada. In 2007, Hawley was given the responsibility of growing sales to OK Tire Stores 270+ retail locations and over 2,000 wholesale customers. As a facilitator for DSP, Hawley will coordinate meetings and share his expertise in a variety of disciplines for DSP members.
